Shalom Ethiopian Church Mission and Purpose
We exist to glorify God by worshiping Him, teaching His Word, and living out the Great Commission, equipping believers to grow in faith, share Christ’s love, and serve their communities with grace.
Our Mission Statement
In obedience to the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, preaching the Gospel to the whole world and teaching the Lord's commands so that the believers will be equipped to do the same in reaching others with the love of Christ in order to disciple them.
Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, 2 Timothy 2:1-2
Our Purpose
We come together as a family of God (congregation) to worship, praise, and glorify the living God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God and three persons) for who He is, what He has done, and is doing and will do in the future. We learn His word humbly and commit ourselves to live out the truth by His grace. Then we go out to reach the lost with the Gospel of Christ in order to bring them to fellowship with His body, the church. (Acts 4:32-35, 1 John 1:1-7, Acts 2:42-46)
International Ministry
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” ~~ Matthew 28:19-20
